For the safety of our patients and staff members, we are implementing a new leash and carrier policy for dogs and cats.
- All large breed dogs must be on a leash, no longer than 6 feet. If you do not have a leash, we can provide one to you at your expense.
- All small breed dogs must also be on a leash, no longer than 6 feet, or in a carrier. Even if you are holding your pet, they must be on a leash at all times. If you do not have a leash or carrier, we can provide one to you at your expense.
- In addition, for all dogs on a leash, if the pet is able to slip out of his/her collar, this is a risk to our other patients. If you are unable to tighten your pet’s collar, we can provide you with a leash at your expense.
- All cats must be in a carrier upon entering the clinic. If you do not have a carrier, we will provide one to you at your expense. Your carrier must be in good condition and the carrier must be stable. If your carrier is not stable, we will provide one to you at your expense.
